RISKS INVOLVED

The marking is permanent and there is a possibility of hyperpigmentation/hypopigmentation resulting from the procedure, specifically in individuals who are prone to hyperpigmentation/hypopigmentation from a scar or injury.

Allergic reactions to pigments are very rare, however, they can and do occur and are difficult and troublesome to treat.

A topical numbing agent will be applied before and during the treatment. But if you are very sensitive to pain, the procedure will involve some pain and discomfort.

Other risks involved may include, but are not limited to: infections, allergic reactions(s) to pigments, allergic and other reactions to products applied during and after the procedure, fanning or spreading of pigment (pigment migration), fading of color and unknown risks.

ABOUT OUR POLICY

Our policy may sound very mean and self-centric. But this came from bad past experiences and we want to have it in place to prevent it from happening again. By no means we want to take any extra money on top the services you are going to receive. If you know any better ways to help us protect our time please do share.

CONSULTATION

You are encouraged to make a in-person or virtual consultation appointment before the actual procedure to ask questions and get to know us. For corrective work, an in-person consultation may be required. Due to too many no call no shows, we no longer offer free consultations. But if you book the procedure appointment after the consultation, the $50 fee will be applied towards the procedure balance.

APPOINTMENTS

Our studio is by-appointment only.  The best way to book is through our online scheduling system. A non-refundable $50 deposit (except for medical issues) is charged when you make your appointment. Overdue deposit invoice will lead to the cancellation of your appointment in order to accommodate other clients. In the event of a no-show or late cancellation, you will lose your deposit.

RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please let us know at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. No-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of scheduled appointment will forfeit your deposit.

You may reschedule your appointment ONCE without losing the deposit, as we cannot continue to hold/move appointments that others could have booked. You will have to pay another $50 to schedule a new appointment.

TOUCH UP POLICY

Touch up appointments and pricing are applicable only to our existing clients. This includes the 4-8 week touch up and the annual color boost. If you have your permanent makeup done by another artist before, you will need to book an initial session with us. And pictures are required before we can take you on.

We are not taking a deposit for the 4-8 week touch up, but the 48-hour notice and the reschedule ONCE policy still apply. If you fail to do so, the charge will be DOUBLED and PRE-PAID to rebook your touch up, within the 4-8 week time frame. After the 8-week mark, please refer to our Color Boost fee structure on the Services page, then times 2

LATENESS

Please plan ahead and try to arrive 5-10 mins early to your appointment. To avoid unfair delays to other clients, if you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment it will be necessary to reschedule. And your deposit will be forfeited. You will have to pay another $50 to schedule a new appointment.

COMMUNICATION

A valid email and phone number are required to set up the appointment. To keep the contact minimal, all our paperwork is electronic and will be sent to you via email. So please make sure that the email address you provide is accurate. The timely return of the New Client Form and/or Addendum is important to your appointment. Delayed or incomplete paperwork will lead to the cancellation of your appointment and your deposit will be forfeited. Consent Form and/or Addendum will need to be signed 24 hours before the appointment.

REFUND AND FEES

All services performed are non-refundable

When you leave the studio your new PMU is in good shape. That is the job of the artist. There are NO GUARANTEES made as to how your body will heal it. If it fades, blurs or not takes good, that is the result of your skin, lifestyle and aftercare …. not a result of the technique or the artist. NO one knows how the clients skin will heal. This is a potential risk all clients take when consenting to this procedure. NOT everyone is a candidate for this procedure.

Certain skin types are difficult and do not hold pigment as well as we anticipate after the two sessions. Skin is very unpredictable, and this is not the fault of the artist. Some procedures might take more than two sessions to complete your desired look. For each additional session, extra fee will be charged.

Dark Lip Neutralization

your lips may go through a process of hyper/hypopigmention during the healing process. Do not panic. The true color won’t show until 6 full weeks. Depending on how much melanin is in the skin and the target color, it’s not uncommon to take 3+ session to achieve your goal. NO GUARANTEES can be made as to how the final results will look like. And we refrain from using cool colors (for example, cool pink, wine, purple, etc.) on your lips after neutralization since they will bring the darkness back to the lips. Please keep this in mind when you consider booking this procedure. A free in-person consultation is highly recommended.

Tattoo removal is a multi-session treatment and your commitment is important to achieve the desired results. Based on how much pigments you have in the skin, how your skin heals after each session, the results will be re-evaluated and the original treatment plan may be adjusted to achieve the goal. NO GUARANTEES can be made as to how the final results will look like.

Stretch mark and scar revision is also a multi-session treatment and your commitment is important to achieve the desired results. You may not see immediate results after the treatment since it takes 4-6 weeks for the skin to heal and produce collagen and elastin. Everyone’s skin is different and NO GUARANTEES can be made as to how the final results will look like.
