About Us
Heidi is the founder and owner of Brows & Body – a professional paramedical tattoo and permanent makeup studio and training academy. She was born with artistic talent and it was shown in her handcrafts, paintings and calligraphy at a young age. Having a background in Biology, she has always had a passion in the beauty industry. After experiencing the magic of microblading herself, she started her own permanent makeup and paramedical tattoo studio. With her artistry, knowledge, expertise, professionalism, attention to details and kindness, Heidi has quickly gained many loyal clients and their friends and families.
In order to stay current in the ever-changing industry, Heidi never stops improving. She has taken over a dozen trainings and continues to invest in advanced classes every year, including the Nano Brow, Brow Daddy’s Ombre Master Class, Stretch Mark Camouflage, Dark Lip Neutralization and Tattoo Removal. Her goal is to bring the world class techniques to her clients and make a positive impact in their lives.
Heidi holds an Iowa State Tattoo Artist license and the Brows & Body studio is a state licensed Tattoo Establishment. Brows & Body uses only sterile disposable tools and top brand products in the industry. The studio strictly follows the Iowa State Public Health regulations and is fully insured. Our mission is to provide the clients with the highest standard of services in the safest environment.
Having seen and removed numerous botched brows, Heidi is a big advocate for the quality and safety of permanent makeup and training. Besides educating the general public how to choose the right artist and trainer, she developed her private, hands-on microblading training to ensure the quality of the new artists. Her eyebrow and eyeliner trainings are especially beginner-friendly, yet very effective for anyone who wants to break into this industry.
